Vintage Vogue Card Holder

This is a card holder that I designed for the Leadership 3D swap. The stamp set I used is the Vintage Vogue from the mini catalog.
The inside holds 4 cards and envelopes.
The pages flip over so you can see each card before taking it out.

Here is a better picture of the cards. I made 2 of each card to put inside.

Sneak Peak

Just a quick post today, I want to share a quick tag I made. Note the background stamp, I used the image from the Elements of Style stamp set that will be available in the next mini catalog. I LOVE that Stampin' Up! spoils their demonstrators! The butterflies are from my favorite embosslit die for the big shot!

Leadership Card

Don't you love this card? this is one of the make n takes we made at leadership. I love all the detail. Check out the paper piercing on the left and the button in the middle of the flower and the crumpled stem, and the flower punched out of the new punches!!! love it.

Faux Flocking

Check out the heart and the bird's wings on this card. I made this flocking with cardstock!
Just scrape your scissors on the edge of your cardstock and collect the paper shavings. You can then add it to your card with crystal effects!
These were so much fun to make and SO soft but they do take a bit of time if you want to cover a large area :)
One more picture of the flocked butterfly.

All about butterflies, waterfall scrapbook.

This is a waterfall scrapbook I made for my daughter a long time ago. I LOVE these books, you might remember the snow one I showed HERE.
This is inside the front cover.

When you pull the butterfly tab on the right the pages flip by themselves and when you reach the end of the book this last page appears :)
I have some more of these scrapbooks I made with simply scrappin kits that I will share next week.

My Piggy Bank

At Leadership I participated in an organized sweet treats swap. I thought of a fun way to access the treats or in this case the money. :) When you pull the piggy's tail the money falls into the box,
and then you slide the box out to retreive it!

I was sad that the matchbox die was too small for this project so I just made my own box instead. FYI - the Basic Grey Designer Series Paper is from the simply scrappin' kit.

I want to send out a shout out to Jackie Topa for the cute idea to use the sweet treats cups as a piggy bank.

Milk Carton Die

I loved the make-n-takes at Leadership. This is the 3D item we made. We used the new big shot die. It is a lot smaller than I imagined it to be and now I like it so much more than before.

Christmas Gifts

I know, I know, more Christmas stuff in January but seriously this one you can create for any occasion. These are the gifts that my kids gave to their school teachers. I learned how to make this altered file folder from my upline who learned from Patty Bennett. Here is the outside, it has a velcro closure under the flap. These are the 2 cards I put inside. I LOVE how the paper matches the file folder! The butterflies are cut out with the new embosslit in the occasions mini catalog. It is COOL! it cuts out and embosses FIVE butterflies at the same time. LOVE this.

This is a picture of the inside, unfortunately the picture is blurry SORRY! The cards and the notepad are tucked inside the pockets and the pen is attached with velcro dots.

This is the tag I put on the outside, I just made a loop in the linen thread and placed it around the velcro dot so it falls off when opened.

I also made one for my step-mother-in-law. These are the cards I made for her.

These cards are made using the hostess set Country Morning.

Momento Mall

Leadership was So much fun! Here is a picture of our group in front of the main stage! (Kristie, Sherri, Candice, Ashley, Brandi, Melanie, Megan, Me, Janice)
Definitely one of the highlights to the first day at leadership is the Momento Mall. The displays were definitely picture worthy. This is just a sampling of some of the things offered.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of these hanging flowers, how fun!

Most people took pictures of the front of these displays, I loved the vinyl so I took the pictures of the back side.

I LOVED these bags.

Here are my friends Ash and Meg. We had So much fun shopping!!

My favorite Christmas card

I received only one stamped Christmas card this year.... gasp I know. This card was from my awesome upline. Isn't it cool. (I don't know why my camera doesn't like red. if you have any suggestions please send them my way)

December Club Pages

I just realized that I never shared last month's club pages. We focused on the Shimmer Paints and we used them 3 different ways on the pages. The Title was stamped using shimmer paint, we just inked up the stamp with a sponge dauber.
This ornament square was sprayed with the shimmer spray.
Santa's beard shines with shimmer paint also, we just dabbed the dauber directly onto the paper.
The shimmer paints aren't in a current catalog but we can still order them anytime!

Shelli Liked it!!!

Last week I went to Leadership and I wanted to get a picture with this awesome woman. This is Shelli Gardner, the ultimate stamping queen! This is a picture after the regional on Saturday. Meeting her was definitely a highlight of my trip and guess what? I was surprised to receive an e-mail yesterday saying she liked my neighbor treat ideas. How cool is that!!!

I have lots to share from leadership, so stay tuned...

So Many Hearts

Stamp Club is this week and here are the projects we are making. On this card we used Chocolate Chip, Real Red (I am not sure why it looks so pink in the pictures), Pretty in Pink, and Very Vanilla to match the new DSP. If you have not seen this paper in person, it is FABULOUS! It is SO sparkly on one side of EVERY sheet!
The stamp set we used is the new set With All My Heart. This is the stamp set we received last week at leadership. On this page, I left a space for journaling above the title.

On both the card and the page we used a brad from the new occasions catalog. On the card we used the sending love epoxy red brads and on the page we used the corduroy buttons. To attach them to the page we snipped the prongs off using the craft and rubber scissors and then attached it to the page with either the dimensionals or glue dots.

My favorite part of the page is the slew of punches I put along the right edge.

Last but not least, here is a cute box I gave to everyone who came to club this month.
