Fruit & Flowers Pages

We made these pages last year at stamp club, sorry it took me so long to show them to you!  I will also share the card we made soon.
We used the Fruit and Flowers stamp set and focused on the Stampin Write Markers and used the ruffled Calypso Coral ribbon.  We used the markers to color the fruit images (so they have more than one color) and used the markers with the spritzer to splatter the white polka dotted background.

We just hand wrote out the silly with the Stampin Write Markers... I love when the pages have hand written journaling.  It just seems to make it more personal.
These pages make me so excited for warm weather again!

Wedding Card Class

I had A LOT of requests lately for wedding cards from a group of ladies, so last month we got together and made a bunch.  I told them to stock up for a year :)  I gave them 6 choices of cards and let them make as many as they wanted of each one.   I will share with you the cards we made, if any of you would like to make some of these with a group of your friends, I am happy to help!

This Card was Cased from Shelli Gardner herself.  (she is the founder of Stampin' Up!)  She demonstrated to us at leadership and showed us a card that was super similar to this... I just changed the stamps and DSP.  The Designer Series paper I used is the Sale-a-bration paper pack that is available through this month.

This card I cased from one of the demonstrators in our group... I don't remember who made the origional card but it was a swap from one of our group meetings.  I just changed it up by adding the new FABULOUS Pleated Satin Ribbon.
ok this ribbon deserves a close up... I had some people not sign up for this card because they thought they would have to ruffle the ribbon... but it comes already ruffled for you!

This wedding wishes card was the favorite!  I just love those birds and the pool party color is one of my favorites right now, it just screams spring to me.  This card was cased from the Stampin Success Magazine (the one that demonstrators get every month).  I loved the card and just changed the image and size of the framelit.

Love that doily!  I also had a lot of questions about the white flowers... I just punched them with the Boho Blossoms punch.  (I only used the 2 smallest flowers)

This card was their second favorite.  I loved it too.  I was inspired on this card layout by pinterest (yep love that website!)

This card you have seen... I already posted about it but wanted to keep it with the class post :)  I have been seeing a ton of bold wedding colors lately... Orange is the color of the year right?
Hope you enjoyed these cards, which one is your favorite?

Cookies!

Last month my mom and I made cookies, and we were able to stamp on them!  One thing about me is that I am NOT a baker.  I CAN cook and make yummy things but I don't like to do it.  (I do like cooking with my mom though :)  So I was super suprised at how much I liked making these cookies, and I am actually looking forward to making more!  Ok so here is how we did it...

We first rolled the dough into balls and then stamped on them with one of the sweet pressed cookie stamps!
The set comes with 3 stamps and 1 wooden handle.  The stamp is soft and is super easy to change.
Here you can see the shamrocks before cooking...  some with sprinkles, some without.

Shamrocks after...
The shamrocks were our favorite, so we decided to make it an annual tradition to make these every year!

Flowers and Bunnies before baking... (we just added some food coloring to the dough)

After, all ready to eat!
When making cookies with these stamps you need to use a shortbread dough so it doesn't rise too much.  The cookie stamps come with a recipe, I haven't tried it yet.  The recipe I used was from Janice who is one of my demonstrator friends.  One thing I love about this recipe is that the cookies are soft... and stay soft for a long time.

Anyone want to come make some more with me?

Sneak Peek

At Leadership this year, they gave us a stamp set that isn't available to order yet.  Love Love Love being a demonstrator, we often get things early!
This Card has 5 images in the new stamp set... the congrats stamp is retired.
Just a fun tip... the Blushing Bride scallop circle is not attached with dimensionals, I used my bone folder to curl the petals up a bit for a little dimension.

I am going to be super sad to say goodbye to these in colors.  Poppy Parade is one of my favorites.  We just have a few more months to enjoy these colors!

Birthday Treat

It's birthday weekend here at our house, and I totally forgot to get a treat ready for my kindergartner to share with his class!  So super last minute (20 min before school started today) I was a mad stamper... because even though I know that every one of these will end up in the trash, I just couldn't send a treat to school without something cute on top.

Air Heads (or air balloon heads as my 6 year old calls them) are my kids favorite treat this month, and luckily we had enough for his class :)  I think I was inspired by the "balloon" in the name to grab the Up, Up and Away stamp set.
Well time for me to get ready for his first friend party...

Monster Card for a Monster Truck loving boy

A darling little boy in my neighborhood had heart surgery last year and I made him this card so all his friends in the neighborhood could write him a message inside (and on the back).  I have never made such a big card before!  This was made with a poster board folded in half.  I am not very good at drawing, so my husband found an awesome picture online of a monster truck and I used it as my template.  I LOVE how the big shot and punches make everything so much better!
Sorry I didn't take any close ups of the poster... the flag was attached to a toothpick, and the bumpy ground is the ric rac on the tasteful trim big shot die.

Delicate Doilies

This is the card we made at stamp club back in July or August... and I still love it.  We stamped with the doily stamps, used the doily punch, and the Pennant die for the Big Shot.  We also used a strip of fabric instead of a ribbon!  Did you know that you can get this fabric free during Sale-a-Bration?  Yep, free with a $50 order!  It comes in a set of 3 extra wide fat quarters in these patterns...

Love the fabric!  We also made the banners by punching out the end of the cardstock with a square punch!  It is so much easier than just cutting it with scissors!

Big Shot Framelits

I Love these new big shot framelits, they cut really well and now we have something to use on Tab 2 of our Big Shot platform!  They come in this plastic envelope with a snap closure...

then you slide out the papers and inside is the dies.
They are attached to this sheet by a strip of double sided tape... not the easiest or quickest to use.
But at Leadership I learned from some other demonstrators a better way to store them... Magnets!  They are metal and stay put with our magnet sheets.  The other demonstrators cut a full sheet of magnets, but I wanted to cut the magnet sheets with the big shot instead, so I chose this ric rac pattern from the Tasteful Trim Die.

I even made one for the edgelits... I figured if we ever get any more I would just store them with these ones.

The magnet sheets have a sticky side so it was super easy to adhere it to the inside of the Clear Mount stamp cases that I sell.  The clear mount cases have a place for us to slide in the instructions as well, so they went on the front cover.

These clear cases are awesome, I have decorated them and given them as gifts (card holders or notebook holders) and they are also the perfect size for holding the Stampin' Write Markers!

There you have it, super easy and convenient!

Valentines Day Decor

For someone who likes pink and hearts, I realized that I don't have many Valentines Day decorations.  Now I remember why I made a few decorations last year :)  So to add to my collection, I made some banners.

To make this, I started out with a canvas board that I got from a local craft store.  I just put a small dab of hot glue that holds both the pennants and the Espresso Bakers Twine.  The pennant punch worked perfectly for this.  I mostly used Stampin' Up! paper but I added a few pennants made out of real sheet music since this would be a decoration on my piano.
So here it is in action... maybe next year I will make something else to add.

Hanging the Stockings with Care

Yes, Christmas is over but I still wanted to share these projects with you.

Love these pages, the closepins, jingle bells, and that awesome lolly... Love the Simply Scored tool!  (oh did you hear that we are getting a diagonal plate for the simply scored tool?  AWESOME!)

I used the Doily dies as snowflakes!
