Fall Frame

Holy cow, Fall is here!! Last week the leaves on my tree turned completely red, where did summer go? Well to get ready for fall I decided to finish my fall frame. My awesome upline Brandi made one of these and I loved it so much so I had to make one of my own.

I received 2 beautiful cards from my friend and downline Becky last week, we both had babies about the same time so she gave me a baby card and a thank you card! Look how cute they are!

These are the cards we made this year at the state fair. I had a booth on Saturday night and everyone who stopped was able to make one of these 3x3 cards!

Fall Candy Jar

My friend and neighbor told me this week that decorating with candy is the cool thing to do, so to get ready for fall I decided to try it out. I have to give a big thanks to Julie for the candy, this is all possible because of you :) Maybe I should make her some vinyl leaves with my big shot so she can make one too!Don't the leaves look so cool on the jar! I attached 4 of the vinyl leaves so the leaves go all the way around the jar and then tied a piece of the dusty durango ribbon around them to finish the look.
I used the greeting from the hostess stamp set Holiday Best, it is definitely a must have stamp set this year and the best part is that it was free!

Aluminum Foil

Do you know that you can cut more than 50 items with the big shot? You can also emboss some things that aren't cardstock! Today I want to show you some projects I made with aluminum foil! I just used the regular weight aluminum foil although the heavy duty stuff would be a little easier to work with. Here are some cards I made with the foil as the background. This first card I used the large dots texturz embossing plate and the second card I used the finial press embossing folder.
This next card I first cut out the butterfly and then embossed it with the texturz plates.
I also wanted to show you how it looks if you don't emboss the foil. This box I just used the foil flower to add a bit more shine.

Embossing is so much fun! I love the way the cupcake looks on the Melon Mambo CS!

Wedding Cards

I love this Medallion stamp, it is definitely one of my favorites. I couldn't believe that I had this stamp displayed on my shelf for about a month before I inked it up. I was asked to make some wedding cards and so this was the stamp I grabbed!

a BOX of fun.

This box was SO much fun to make, I used the Bitty Box and envelope die and the Out of the Box hostess stamp set. I also used the teeny tiny wishes stamp set (I think I have used those greetings on most of the projects I have made lately - it has every greeting I need!) Do you want to see what I put inside? Candy of course, Junior Mints are one of my favorites so I often have them on hand :)
To make this box I cut out a piece of bashful blue the same size as the lid and ran it through the big shot inside the finial press embossing folder and then I glued it on with sticky strip. The ribbon and the elephant is in the new Soft Suede color. I LOVE this color, I am sure I will use it a lot this year.

Birthday Club Pages

Stamp Club is today and this is the scrapbook page we will be making. My ladies will get the choice of using real red or rose red. These pages shown have rose red. We will be learning how to dye the white ribbon, and this awesome technique with glossy paper and the Stampin' Up! texturz plates.
