Tropical Party

I was lucky to attend my friend Heather's stamping event. She made each guest these cute party favors! Aren't they so awesome? She used a bunch of awesome stuff from the summer mini catalog. Today is the last day to order from it! I Love this Island Floral Big Shot Die. You will see some hair flowers made out of it soon :)
Aren't these party favor boxes so cute? They come in polka dots and stripes!

Holy Cow. I can't believe it is September tomorrow! Where did summer go?

My Favorite Headband

I don't think I have shared this before... I Love ribbon. Seriously, no project feels complete to me without it, but ribbon isn't only for cards :) I wish I had a decent picture of this on my head! But imagine this on, the ruffles go down the side of your head and it is tied in the back. Amazingly it stays on without any pins! LOVE it!

Birdie Milk Carton

One more molded window sheet. I actually LOVE this milk carton... but I gave it away to my son's teacher so I wanted to make sure that I posted it here so I can make another someday.

The tag is cut out with the thick window sheets and the baskets and blooms die for the big shot. After I heated up the tag with my heat tool I just laid it on the milk carton so it took on the shape.

More Convention 2010

More of my favorites!

Free goodies!!! We were able to spin the wheel and get something free if we commit to recruit :) and yea! I have a new girl in my group now :) Here is Melanie and I.
Speaking of my girls. I loved being there with my downline (well the ones who could make it) Here is Becky and I (below)

and Chelsey and LaVon. I am so sad I never got a picture of Cathy, oh well - next time! It was fun to make them a purse full of goodies :)
Shopping is always a highlight. I Love the displays they always have and I usually get a bunch of things :)
Another highlight was to walk across the stage. I reached the first milestone award last year but since I didn't go to convention last year I walked with some of my 5 year friends this year! only 4 more years to walk across the stage for being a demo for 10 years!

A little bling

My Husband is NOT a jewelry fan - whatever I wear it all the time. He has forbidden me to get my baby's ears pierced until she is older. I have told him a few times to not be surprised when I finally do it :)

I got him pretty good. He noticed these right away and said something like "What is on her ears", he seemed pretty ticked so I was fast to tell him they are just stick ons! lol.
Yep you heard me right. Stampin' Up sells these AWESOME Jewels. They come in pearls and rhinestones that are self adhesive! LOVE it. The best part- they totally survived the whole day. They even stayed on through one nap!
FUN! I can't wait to try the pearls...

Ruffles and Ovals

No this isn't paper, it is fabric! I cut out some ovals with my big shot and just added a ruffle to the front :) so fun!

Butterflies and Birds on a Line

Sewing on paper is so much fun! A while ago I made this spring decoration using the bird punch. All you do sew bird after bird down the line leaving some thread in between each of them. I also made some with butterflies to decorate for my daughters birthday. (sorry it is a bad picture - it wasn't working for me that day!)

Ice Cream Card Holder

More Sweet Scoops. Are you sick of them yet? My mom made a set of icecream cards to give away as a gift. I thought it would be so much fun to package it in a card holder! So I made 2. One for her and one for me :)I LOVE these holders, they are small but perfect and come from an 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock! I first saw them HERE on my friend's blog. I love sharing ideas :)
Look how fun it looks inside a clear envelope! (the brownies make it look better too! too bad they are all gone)

Molded Flower

I was going through my stash of completed projects that I haven't shared and found this card. Even though the brad and DSP is retired I still LOVE this card because of the flower. All I did was use the thick window sheets - it has to be the thick ones! Cut an image out with your big shot and heat it with the heat tool to mold it. Awesome huh.

I mostly cased this card but I can't remember where I saw it... so if you do, let me know.

Convention 2010 Highlights

OH. MY. GOODNESS. Convention was AWESOME this year.
I would like to share with you some of my favorites.
Saturday was definitely my favorite day. Main stage was Amazing, the classes were my favorites and I love this lady!

I was talking with a few people and we decided that EVERY demonstrator should go to convention just to hear Shelli Gardner talk. She is amazing. This picture I snapped of her and Sterling during Monday night's Flower Power Party. Definitely my highlight of the night was hanging out with friends/meeting new friends and getting some freebies :)

Brandi (my awesome upline) gave me this awesome album. I am excited to fill it with pictures! here is the front back

and insides.

6 pages for photos!

We also did a swap with just our group. I didn't make a swap this year but I received all these cards! I LOVE our group :) and I definitely have some paying it forward to do.

Aren't they all awesome! If I get a name wrong let me know! These were from: Courtney, Jen, Christie, Stacie, Deann, Phyllis, Ashley, and Melanie.

Thanks everyone!

That night they had games, contests, and a bunch of demonstrator presenters. My favorite project I saw were these cute clear milk cartons. I am not sure why I love them as much as I do.

I need to share some of the sweet shop. I went there a few times and I probably missed SO many things. It was fabulous.

It was set up so cute and had so much inside. Here are 2 of my favorites.

I really liked making the paper pad marker sheets again but I have to say that my favorite part were the banners in all the color collections!

Here you can see some friends, Jen, Courtney, Janice and Ashley below :)

At lunch time they went all out with the treats. My favorite was the chocolate fountain. They had this awesome pineapple tree on the same table as the fountain!
They had hundreds of displays and my favorite was this activity book. My kids would love it - or atleast I hope they would :) SO SO SO much fun! I have so much more to share!

Sweet Scoops Cards

I had a lot of fun playing with this stamp set when I was getting ready for club this month! (was that a run on sentence? oh well :) I don't know about you, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new ribbon! - both of them! I am excited to build my ribbon collection up again.
The Pear Pizzazz scallops on the right side are made from the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.
I love this embossing folder for the big shot, it reminds me of waffle cones so I just had to use it!

Love the shiny DSP on these cards. Seriously you need to see it in person!

So Sweet

These are the projects we are making at club this week. This stamp set is so fun to use, there are so many different combos!
We are using a new punch, and some specialty paper - the paper is shiny and looks embossed!
This is the scrapbook layout.

The ice cream cones are so fun to make with different combos!

I couldn't resist using the lattice embossing folder. I think it looks like a waffle cone!

I am totally LOVING this Sweet Scoops stamp set. It is only available to order through August!
