Molded Flower

I was going through my stash of completed projects that I haven't shared and found this card. Even though the brad and DSP is retired I still LOVE this card because of the flower. All I did was use the thick window sheets - it has to be the thick ones! Cut an image out with your big shot and heat it with the heat tool to mold it. Awesome huh.

I mostly cased this card but I can't remember where I saw it... so if you do, let me know.

Masculine Cards

One thing that my customers ask for - that I am not very good at doing is making masculine cards. The girly ones are a lot more fun for me to make... but in a house with 3 boys I should definitely make them more.

I used these cards for fathers day this year (the airplane works perfect for my hubby - and was the main reason why I bought this stamp set!) but these cards work just as great for a birthday. I let my club girls choose last month which one they would like to make!

The stamp set and DSP are from the mini catalog. We just embossed the image with clear embossing powder and sponged around it (in a circular motion) to make it pop.

fyi - the ribbon is retired now...

Happy 4th

I know I know, almost a month late. But I promised my club girls I would post this!
I totally love this wheel - we used a versamark ink cartridge. The star brad below and the blue 4th above was colored using a fun technique. Add a drop or two to some crystal effects and mix it. Then either paint or dip your brad into the mixture to color! (I wiped the excess off the brad)

This layout we did for club I almost exactly cased from my friend Stacie. She doesn't have a open blog to link to or I would. We both post on a blog for our stampin group (which is AWESOME by the way). So thanks Stacie for the great idea!

purse alert

I am totally loving this purse. This is one of the things we made at my last downline meeting except we put on fabric flowers. I let my girls choose their favorite DSP from the sweet pea pack.
The flower I have on this purse is made from the thick window sheets. I cut it out with the big shot and then heated it with the heat tool to bend it.

Faux Flocking

Check out the heart and the bird's wings on this card. I made this flocking with cardstock!
Just scrape your scissors on the edge of your cardstock and collect the paper shavings. You can then add it to your card with crystal effects!
These were so much fun to make and SO soft but they do take a bit of time if you want to cover a large area :)
One more picture of the flocked butterfly.
