Post it Butterflies

My mom and I made these post it note holders to match this card for some birthday presents. I thought they turned out so cute.
Here is the side view, I love when the post it notes match. Seriously can't they make white ones so they match every Stampin' Up! color! So if you ever see white post it notes let me know. :)

Bunch of Butterflies

I took on a big project this month. I have seen some of these before and thought it would look perfect in my darling girl's room (girl stuff is so much fun!). I wanted to make each butterfly different and use a lot of different accessories and I think that is what did it. I think it actually took me a couple of hours (of course while taking care of the fam too :) The colors I used were Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and the retired Wild Wasabi because it matches her bedding perfectly. :)

Sorry the pictures are hazy, the light that was coming in the window messed it up.
I didn't realize until I took the picture that my 2 favorite butterflies were right next to each other. I love the ribbon butterfly, (I made another one for a card a while ago you can see it here) and the chocolate one beneath it is my other favorite one, I embossed it with the manhattan flower embossing folder after I cut it out.
I covered this butterfly with the green bead duo. My boys thought this one was really cool, it is heavy but it sparkles.
Here is a little better view of the room, I put it close to the crib so she can look at it but far enough away that she can't touch it :)

I used a lot of accessories to make this so if you have any questions to what I used just let me know!

Now all I need to figure out is what vinyl I am going to put above her crib. I was planning on getting the chandeleir but now the new catalog is here one of the images in it might work perfectly. . . Any suggestions?

I made it!

In this post I showed you these cute baby clips, and I finally made a onesie to match! I just stitched the fleurettes directly onto a newborn onesie and I love the way it turned out! I just clipped the hair clip to the headband so it will work on bald babies too!

Candy Bar Holder

Shelly in my downline made these awesome candy bar holders and gave me one! I love it, she used the Oval All stamps and the Scallop Oval Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Sunshine Garden

I can't believe I haven't shown you this yet! This is a fun card that I made using my circle scissors! This is what it looks like closed,
and this is what it looks like opened! I left spaces for photos and journaling. These work great with simply scrappin kits, this one uses the Sunshine Garden one.

Here is the top view, you can tie it so it stays open if you like.

When I was making this I had some leftover paper and diecuts so I made these cute 3x3 cards to match.

If you would like me to send you a tutorial I made for this, e-mail me at kasia567@yahoo.com.

Cracked Glass

This is the card we made to match our club pages for the month. We covered the entire image with Glassy Glaze embossing powder to create the cracked glass look. I have wanted to do this technique in club for a long time but I have never had enough freezer space :) So now that I finally have enough room I thought it was about time! yep you heard me right, after you heat the embossing powder you stick it in the freezer so it is cold enough to crack when you bend it. Here is a close up look at the shine and the cracked glass look.

I thought these cards were so cute that I decided I needed to make a set of them with a card holder to match. I changed the pattern on the paper so they were almost all different and they weren't too bulky so they fit nicely inside.

Here is the card holder, what a fun gift!

Fifth Ave. Post it Notes

This is the last project we made at my customer appreciation party. Everyone who was a hostess this past year was able to make one of these. If this looks familiar to you it is because I created it to match this box I recently made :)

B yourself

This is one of the cards that we made at my customer appreciation party last week. My favorite part is definitely the glitter. I also like how this card opens. Becky in my downline gave me a card with this layout and I thought it was so fun.
This card uses the Slumber Party designer series paper that is retiring and also the stamps Just B that are only available through June. This stamp set is super fun because you can use so many sayings that go with the B. I let all my ladies choose their favorite saying for their card.

Always Club Pages

Here are June's club pages! As you can see I was totally lacking inspiration on the title of this page. I stole the title from the stamp set we used :) If you have any ideas on generic titles leave me a comment, I am sure I will need them for the next page. I also told my girls to not be scared by the pumpkin pie photo mats because only the edge will show once the picture is on them and they won't be so bright. I really tried to not use the big shot and totally failed! I seriously LOVE that thing too much :) As you can see we cut out the chipboard flowers using the Build a Flower die. We attached the paper to the chipboard with the amazing Tombow glue before we ran it through, make sure the paper side is down and you will get amazing curved edges. As you can see we covered the fabulous bird with Glassy Glaze to create the cracked glass look.

The thing that my ladies commented on the most was this circle image. We first cut out the circle with the circle cutter and then stamped it with the stamps. Can I tell you how much I love that the stamps match the Sweet Always designer series paper! I will be so sad when it is gone this month.

Thank You

Last night was my customer appreciation night and I want to say thank you again to everyone, we had a great time and made some fun projects. My customer appreciation night was a free class for my customers hostesses and club members from the past year.

I made some fun water bottle holders for the ladies to drink stamping style :)

We had lots of prizes and here are some of them. These are 2-4-6-8 boxes. I haven't made these for years and my sidelines reminded me of them. They are super easy to make. If you would like to learn how to make these, just let me know! For these boxes I used the paper from the retiring Best Ever simply scrappin kit and the Heartfelt Thanks stamps. To attach the ribbon, I punched a notch in the sides with my crop-a-dile before tying it with the Ridinghood Red ribbon.
This is the tool box we made last night. I changed the color again :) Everyone chose what tool stamp and greeting to put on their box.

The project that my club ladies made was this cool pop up cake. It was fun to watch everyone cringe about smashing the cake to close the card after learning how to put it together.

I will share the other 2 projects we made in the next few days :)

If you would like to be invited to my next customer appreciation night, the list starts now! All you need to do is place an order, host a workshop or class, or come to stamp club (or all of the above to be able to make all the projects) to be invited!

Totally Tool

How cool is this? I am always looking for things to make with my big shot dies and I found this tool box on another demonstrators blog. (isn't it great to share ideas!!) My boys wouldn't let me get away with making one for me without making one for each of them as well.

To handle is created using the word window punch and to make the latch on the front use the designer label punch. Punch it out and then put it back in on the side to make it short.
This would be so fun to give away for fathers day!
