Follow your Heart
My goal today was to try the Scallop Edge Corner punch. It wasn't as scary as I thougt it would be and I only messed up a little... I just covered up my mistake with the heart :) The houses come from the Welcome Neighbor DSP Pad. It was fun to use the paper for my focal point.
I thought I would share my secret to get the linen thread to stay in place without adhesive. I just cut a small notch on each side of the heart with my scissors and gently pulled the thread untill it stuck :)
Can you guess how many things I used on this card that I got free from Sale-a-bration this month?

fox and friends game
This is another swap I received. I don't know who made this one but it is cool. The base is on chipboard so it is strong, and the white CS is actually 3 or so layers so the balls will stay in the holes!

purse alert
I am totally loving this purse. This is one of the things we made at my last downline meeting except we put on fabric flowers. I let my girls choose their favorite DSP from the sweet pea pack.
The flower I have on this purse is made from the thick window sheets. I cut it out with the big shot and then heated it with the heat tool to bend it.

price lists...
I am excited to share something totally different with you today. My friend just opened a salon in Taylorsville and she asked me to decorate a price list for her to display.
My friend wasn't sure what colors or images she wanted so I made 2 for her to choose from. She wanted to display it on an easel instead of in a frame so I snailed a chocolate piece of cardstock to the back to make it stronger.
To create this brown frame, I just cut out paper, sponged the edges and glued it on. The leaves were cut using the embosslit and the bird punch. I actually gave her 3 different colors of birds to choose from. She chose the yellow (not pictured).

V-day decor
Ok first off, look how fabulous and RED this is :) I gave up on my new camera and got a newer one! Thank goodness costco has a 90 day return policy :) for those of you who are wondering - do not get a nikon coolpix 220 (I think that was the one) It was pretty cheap but totally not worth it. I heard the next model up was good but didn't want to chance it.
Ok back to the stamping, my husband brought this magnet home from the store and the first thing I said was, I could decorate this... and he said I knew you would. Now I need to go buy tons more so I can make one for every month :)This is a little wreath I made with chipboard. I just inked up the circle with craft ink and covered the heart with the glittery sending love paper. Here you can see where I hung this in my home.

No Place Like Home
Stamp Club this month is all about sale-a-bration! Here are the pages we are making. The stamps we used are from the Good Neighbors stamp set. It is a stamp set that you can earn FREE through sale-a-bration. I love the cloud stamp, it is definitely my favorite stamp in the whole set :)
I LOVE the new scallop trim border punch, it is also a sale-a-bration gift and so is the double sided designer series paper. Free stuff is so much fun. To learn more about sale-a-bration, click on the catalog link on the left or e-mail me and I will fill you in!I created this tree with the scallop 2 die and the new bird punch. I also sponged the edges of the hearts with sahara sand ink. While making these pages I cased this layout. Most of the time the thing that inspired me ends up totally different from what I make but not this month. The card is very similar to one I saw at leadership last month :)
