A little while ago I showed you the pieces for this card. Here it is all put together!
To make the circle, I cut out a 4 inch circle from my circle scissor plus and then I sliced the edge off.
The inspiration for this card came from page 55 of the spring summer 2009 catalog so if you have the old catalog go check it out! I keep all my catalogs because they do have great ideas in them :)

Top Note Accordian Purse
This purse was so fun to make, I have seen a few of these but I couldn't find directions so I just made up my own. My favorite part of this purse is the Fleurette. I dyed the flower with real red classic ink refil (just a few drops and a tiny bit of water) and let it sit over night.
When you open the purse that is where the accordian comes. Each of the colored pieces of paper comes out. You can decorate them any way you like, and can either put pictures or journaling on them. You could also make some cards to fit inside!

Manhattan Top Note
I don't think I have shared this card with you yet. I made this card a long time ago for a swap with my demonstrator friends. I used the big shot to cut out the top note shape and then I ran it back through in the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder. The "thank you" is from the Enjoy Every Moment stamp set and punched out with the large oval punch.

Birthday Boxes
I made these boxes for some girls ages 8-11 in my neighborhood that had their birthday this summer. I told them that they had the same amount of candy in both the big and small boxes but they all picked the big ones first. A lot of the boxes I make them end up broken or thrown away so I kept them pretty simple, mainly stamps and paper but I can't make anything without ribbon and dimensionals :) Here you can see them a little better. The red ones use the Pink Flamingo DSP.
These boxes were all SO easy to make with the Big Shot dies. The big boxes are from the box #2 die and the small boxes are from the new Bitty Box and Envelope Die only available through Stampin' Up!

Dasher
This is one of the cards we are making at my class next month. I LOVE this stamp and so do all the demonstrators in my group. A lot of the winners for my upline's shoebox swap used this stamp. (I will try to remember to post those cards once I have finished them). I used the always stamp set for the branches on the bottom and the greeting is from the teeny tiny wishes stamp set. My favorite part is the glitter on his antlers!

I can't believe it!!
Last week was our county fair. I never thought while growing up that I would ever enter anything to the fair but that was before I started scrapbooking. I entered 5 scrapbook pages and guess what? I couldn't believe that I won first place on all of them. I even won a high blue ribbon (I guess you can get better than first :) on THIS page, well I guess it doesn't hurt to have cute baby pictures! (Krystal, I now have a picture of her on my blog now!) I have updated the pictures of my pages on my blog so they are now finished with pictures you can see them HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
All of these pages we made at my scrapbook club, if you would like to join we meet every first Wednesday. If you aren't local I would be happy to ship the supplies to make our pages each month for a small fee. e-mail me at kasia567@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Shoebox Swap Card
Last weekend my awesome upline Brandi had a shoebox swap on Friday night during convention. I wasn't able to attend convention this year but there was an open spot at the shoebox swap and she let me come! Brandi's downline meetings are always awesome, this one we had 2 groups of shoebox swaps (2 groups of 20) and we also made 2 wow projects and had a bunch of fun with games. Can I just tell you that I love hanging out with these ladies, now I love to stamp so much but I like just chatting with them even more so needless to say I didn't complete any of my cards. Anyway back to what you all want to see, here is my card. I really wanted to use this stamp set because I love it for one and I didn't think that many of the people coming had this stampset yet. I took this picture before I removed the button for the swap, sorry ladies I was a few buttons short so I couldn't add it but if you like how it looks you can add one :) We embossed the tree with craft chocolate chip ink and clear embossing powder. I really like embossing on the designer series paper. The stamps were new and the ribbon is also, it is the new 1 1/4 inch striped grosgrain ribbon and I love it. Here you can see the embossed image as it is shining in the flash.

I guess I am on another butterfly kick :) I LOVE the butterfly die! I also love this organza ribbon. I love how you can see the colors through it, I love the 2 different colors it makes it look like magic :)

Club time again
This month's page was super fun to make. I branched out from my clean and straight lines style to make something a little different for my ladies this month. Here is the 12x12 layout! Check out the title, I got to use my new favorite alphabet stamp set called Jaynes Type Alphabet, it is so much fun! I really liked this cottage wall designer series paper when I first saw it but I don't like the color orchid opulence, I don't use the color anymore and I actually gave my stamp pad away. (sorry for those of you who like it) I was very pleased that pale plum matched the paper just as well so that is what I used along with old olive and rich razzleberry. I got the idea to use the butterflies from the dsp, many of the pages have small butterflies on them so of course I had to get the new butterfly punch to use along with the butterfly stamps and the bigshot butterflies!
Just want to give a shout out to Brenda Weaver who gave me the inspiration for these pages! You are my scrapbooking hero :)
Here is a close up of the butterflies. I used some of the awesome new window sheets that matched for the top layer of the large butterfly, and then I punched some small flowers out of the scraps and attached them to the butterflies using brads. Sorry it was hard to get a picture of, the white flower still doesn't show up very well :)
